Salumi Leoncini’s Roasted Cured Pork, also called porchetta, is made by wrapping lean pork loin with belly, rubbing it down with Mediterranean herbs, hand-tying it, curing it with salt and sugar, and oven-roasting it to perfection. The end result is rosy, flavorful, porky salumi that’s perfect in sandwiches, on its own, or sliced thinly alongside salami and prosciutto on a charcuterie board.
Founded in 1918 by Aristodemo Leoncini in Emilia-Romagna, Salumi Leoncini is now recognized as one of Italy’s premier salumi producers. Still operated by the Leoncini family, the fourth generation continues to handcraft exceptional products at their facility near Lake Garda, using traditional methods and closely guarded recipes passed down through the years.
