From one of America’s most beloved and award-winning creameries, Nettle Meadow’s Kunik is a luscious triple cream bloomy-rinded cheese made with a combination of goat’s milk and cow cream. Sourced from their own farm and animal sanctuary at the foothills of the Adirondacks in upstate New York, Kunik is made by hand-turning each small wheel during its two- to six-week aging process in a subterranean cheese cave.
Kunik has a delicate, edible bloomy rind and a fudgy paste beneath that softens as it ages. It has a tangy, buttery flavor with earthy, mushroomy undertones, making it perfect for any cheese board alongside figs, pears, dried apricots, and a drizzle of clover honey.
