Valrhona’s Guanaja is a dark, gluten free chocolate that develops extraordinary bitterness, revealing a whole aromatic range of warm notes while unveiling flowery notes and an intense flavor that is exceptionally long-lingering. These melt-in-your-mouth cakes are also made with freshly churned butter from Charentes-Poitou, pure vanilla extract and almonds from the Mediterranean basin. The nuts replace wheat flour, so these cakes are naturally gluten-free and incredibly moist and flavorful. Each cake serves about 4 people, and comes in a little tin to preserve freshness.
