Amedei chocolate is crafted in Pontedera, Tuscany by Cecilia Tessieri, the first female maître (master) chocolatier in the world. Her chocolate is known and loved worldwide for its smooth texture and full-bodied flavor. Tessieri uses extra dark chocolate (63%) to highlight the dehydrated peaches and apricots. The mild bitterness complements the sweetness of the peaches and slight tart/sweet of the apricots. These fruits are known for their quenching and digestive properties, thanks to Vitamin A, calcium and magnesium, making this a nice energy boost to boot. A subtle taste seduction between dark chocolate and yellow fruits!
