Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Yoredale Wensleydale is a clothbound, raw-milk farmhouse cheese that brings a bright and refreshing profile to the table. Aged for about three months, it has a crumbly yet moist texture with flavors of cultured butter, lemon zest, and a delicate lactic tang. It’s perfect for crumbling into fresh green salads, pairing with dried fruit and nuts, or adding a creamy counterpoint to savory charcuterie. In true Yorkshire tradition, serve it with a slice of apple pie for a sweet-salty combination that’s hard to beat. Yoredale’s fresh, buttery notes also make it a wonderful match for honey drizzles, toasted bread, or as a contrast to richer aged cheeses on a cheeseboard.

Ben and Sam Spence began making Yoredale in 2022 on their family farm in Wensleydale, reviving a nearly forgotten tradition of raw-milk Wensleydale production. With early support from Neal’s Yard Dairy, their cheese has quickly become celebrated for its authenticity and handcrafted quality. Each wheel is clothbound and aged on wooden shelves, a practice that develops the rind and enhances complexity in the paste. Their work honors Yorkshire’s monastic cheesemaking roots while bringing a fresh interpretation to modern cheese lovers. It’s an artisan expression of place and history that tastes as good on the board as in the kitchen.
