Trillium is a triple cream, bloomy-rind cheese inspired by classic French Camembert and Brie. It has a soft, buttery texture with rich smooth flavors and gentle lactic tones.Located on the northwest side of Indianapolis, Indiana, Tulip Tree Creamery was founded in 2014 by industry veterans Fons Smits and Laura Davenport. The couple have an extensive background in biology and dairy consulting and marketing and set out to create their own line of uniquely handcrafted artisan cheeses. Tulip Tree Creamery was founded on the simple idea of handcrafting traditional European cheeses with a uniquely American twist.
Inspired by the classic Brie and Camembert cheese of France, this soft-ripened triple cream has an ultra-smooth inner paste that is full of rich, buttery flavors and gentle lactic tones. Aged for 2-4 weeks, this multiple ACS and World Cheese winner has an addictive flavor and a supple texture that is one to experience.
