Feta cheese is usually associated with sheep’s milk or a blend of sheep and goat’s milk. We are pleased to offer you an alternative from the land down under - camel’s milk feta. Produced in the Persian style, marinated in oil, spices and herbs, this naturally low in lactose cheese is made at Summer Land Farm, situated in the volcanic crater of the Scenic Rim, with fertile soils, beautiful spring water and spectacular views to Flinders Peak in south-east Queensland, Australia. Summer Land Farm is chemical-free, GMO-free and farmed with biodynamic principles, grounded in the rich volcanic soil and natural spring water. Their camels are originally from the wild. Summer Land Camels captures wild camels from the Australian outback and trains them to produce award-winning dairy and skincare goods. Australian camels are some of the healthiest in the world, they are disease-free with quality genetics.
This soft, smooth award-winning Persian Feta made with fresh Camel Milk is rich and creamy with delicate flavors and a clean finish. The versatility of this handmade feta allows it to be used in numerous ways. It can be enjoyed on its own, as a centerpiece on a cheese board, or used as an ingredient in a variety of dishes. Its creamy texture and tangy taste can enhance the flavors of antipasto, salads, soups, quiches, and omelettes.
• Made from pasteurized camel’s milk.
What’s the best way to store my cheese?
The best way to keep cheese fresh is to store it in the vegetable crisper in your fridge. Before doing so, wrap in parchment or wax paper, then wrap loosely in plastic wrap. You can also buy our exclusive cheese storage bags, specially created to keep your cheese fresher, longer.
Unless used for cooking, we don’t recommend storing cheese in the freezer as this will alter its texture.
What is the best temperature to serve my cheese?
Remove cheese from the fridge an hour before serving, as cheese is best experienced at room temperature to enjoy the full spectrum of flavors.
How long will my cheese stay fresh in the refrigerator?
The length of time cheeses last in the fridge after opening depends largely on the type of cheese. Soft varieties tend to spoil more quickly than hard varieties. Please refer to the table below for a convenient reference:

How We Ship
FreshWave Packaging
Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.
For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.
Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.
