Oldman Saltbush is locally grown at Reedy Creek. Native to Australia, this shrub is traditionally used for many purposes from medicinal to flavoring foods. The leaves are both salty and herbal in flavor thus complementing the delicate flavors of Woodhouse Cheese Wrights's hand made fresh goat cheese. A must for the cheese board and fabulous with warm crusty bread and a drizzle of olive oil.

She is supported by her team of cheesemakers (including her son, Mitch) in making cheeses with traditional methods but innovative flavors and individual character. Woodside Cheese Wrights makes cheese from goat, cow and buffalo producing fresh, white mold and matured cheeses. Using local milk and ingredients, these "traditional" cheeses express the flavor and seasonality of the milk while reflecting the rich flavors of southern Australia.
