How We Ship

FreshWave Packaging

Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Prosciutto: the King of Taste. Just pork leg, sea salt, time and plenty of passion, these are the only ingredients used in preparing Galloni Prosciutto. Their pre-sliced prosciutto is aged for 20 months and ready to enjoy!

Galloni Prosciutto begins with the best, heaviest pigs that enable long maturation with minimum amounts of salt. The sea salting process is their competitive advantage. Galloni’s Salting Masters still do it by hand, and this makes every haunch different in a perfect balance of flavors. Maturation, which is longer than the standard provides for, takes place in cellars that feature mostly natural ventilation to give Prosciutto a rich and delicate flavor.

This family business is based in Langhirano, known all over the world as the “Little Prosciutto Capital.” Langhirano has a unique climate. From the neighboring Liguria region, the mild Marino sea wind crosses the Apennines and reaches this area creating this unique climate.
