Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Sweet and unassuming at first, Crémeux keeps you coming back for another perfect toothsome bite as the flavor and texture gathers momentum and becomes more reminiscent of a soft cooked egg yolk in a bowl of ramen.

Enjoy with blackberries, pineapple and honey. Shave or salads with lemon vinaigrette and pomegranate seeds, grate on polenta. All fabulous, but we just loved to simply snack on this stunning cheese. Pairs nicely with a tart Gose, Berliner Weisse beer, Riesling and even iced green tea

Swiss cheese makers and affineurs carefully handpick a select number of wheels to continue their refinement in the Kaltbach Caves in the Alpine Valley. The caves are a 22 million year old natural sandstone labyrinth with a small tranquil river that runs through it which also inspired the name. Kaltbach means "cold river," and it’s what allows for a constant humidity of 96 percent in the cool, mineral-rich cave air. The enormous amount of cave-wall surface area help regulate the aging atmosphere and promote a stable setting for the cheese to ripen. The porous nature of the sandstone acts as a give and take. It gives moisture when needed and absorbs when there is too much. This natural process regulates the humidity which is a crucial part of texture and flavor development and what makes this cheese unlike any other in the world.
