This is a truly spectacular brie, made with milk sourced from cows that graze on the the lush valleys of Eastern France, near the Jura Mountains. It has that luxurious, buttery texture we all look for in a brie, with a delicate white rind.
The flavor of Brie Mon Sire is mild, with notes of fresh cream and mushroomy earthiness. Serve it on a cheese board with fresh apples, pears, or grapes; with toasted nuts and a drizzle of honey; or simply spread on a fresh baguette. It also makes for a fantastic baked brie.
- Pairings: Champagne or other sparkling wine, crisp chardonnay
