This is your standard issue chocolate-dipped coconut macaroon, only not really. Danny Macaroon takes their plain macaroon, which is baked up golden brown and super delicious, and then tops it with their custom blend of dark chocolate. They use an aged 72% dark chocolate and blend it with a mellower 60% to create the perfect balance for our macaroons. It doesn't really get any better than this!
Dan Cohen founded Danny Macaroons in New York City in 2010. He remains committed to making the best coconut macaroons you can find anywhere. Because of the coconut he uses, these macaroons have more texture than other macaroons. They're more akin to homemade macaroons than other store-bought ones. Which is possibly why Food & Wine Magazine believes that they are among the finest store-bought cookies in the country.
