Artikaas has been a family-run cheesemaker in Holland for over 6 generations. And they still make the country’s beloved Gouda the way they always have—meticulously, using only the best whole milk from family farms. The quality of that milk is especially essential when it comes to their Roomkaas, which translates to “cream cheese.” That’s because extra cream is added to the milk, increasing the butterfat content from 48% to 60%. Incredibly smooth and rich, the cheese pairs well with fresh grapes, pears, and dried Turkish apricots. It's sliceable, melts beautifully, and is great for making creamy cheese sauces and delicious omelets. You can even slip a piece on top of a slice of apple pie for a special dessert!
