A classic Japanese condiment, Kosho literally means "pepper". This full-flavored rub is made of Yuzu zest, kombu seaweed, chile pepper and salt. This gives it a mix of bright citrus, umami from the kombu, and heat from the pepper. A must for yakitori or barbecue. Rub on pork, beef, fish or chicken, or add to one-pots and stir-fry dishes. Spread on pizza dough, add to pasta sauces, marinades, salad dressings, soups, and eggs. An economical and exceptionally diverse condiment! Available in red or green pepper. Varieties sold separately.
