For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Grimaud Farms’ whole guinea fowl is a premium specialty poultry prized by chefs for its refined flavor and elegant texture. Known throughout Europe as the “Sunday Bird,” guinea fowl has long been celebrated in classic French cuisine. Slightly smaller than a chicken and similar in size to pheasant, this domesticated bird delivers white meat with a distinctive character that is richer and more complex than chicken while remaining clean and delicate on the palate.

Raised from the highest-grade French breeding stock, Grimaud Farms guinea fowl are barn-raised, cage-free, and fed a carefully selected diet tailored to the breed. The result is exceptionally lean poultry with tender, flavorful meat that cooks beautifully. Guinea fowl is especially well suited for roasting or braising, where its natural juices and refined flavor can fully develop. The taste is often compared to pheasant but without strong gaminess, making it both sophisticated and approachable.
