Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

These quails offer a larger, meatier version of this classic game bird, with each bird averaging 5 ounces. Known for its rich, tender dark meat, quail delivers a deeper flavor than chicken, with a subtle sweetness and a clean, balanced finish. The larger size makes these birds especially well suited for center-of-plate presentations while still retaining the delicate texture quail is known for.

Quail cooks quickly and benefits from high-heat methods that lock in moisture and enhance its natural flavor. Roast at 450–500°F for 10 to 15 minutes, or sear over direct heat before finishing on the grill over indirect heat. Cook to an internal temperature of 150°F for best results. Serve one bird as an appetizer or two as a main course, paired with roasted vegetables, grains, or light sauces that complement rather than overpower the meat.

Raised in the Catalonia region of northern Spain, Urgasa quail are produced by a family-owned company with decades of experience. Their birds are raised cage-free and fed a carefully selected diet, resulting in consistent quality and flavor. Each quail is processed with care and frozen promptly to preserve freshness, making it a reliable option for both everyday cooking and special occasions.
