Quail cooks quickly and benefits from high-heat methods that preserve its moisture and enhance its flavor. Roast at high temperatures, around 450–500°F, for 10 to 15 minutes, or sear over direct heat before finishing over indirect heat on the grill. Cook to an internal temperature of 150°F for optimal tenderness.
