How We Ship

FreshWave Packaging

Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

This is a traditional, old-fashioned style bacon that keeps the pork skin intact for added texture and flavor. Unlike most modern bacon, where the rind is removed before smoking, this version delivers a distinctive combination of crispy, crunchy, and chewy bites that appeal to those who prefer a more rustic preparation.

Rich and savory with a deep smoked flavor, the bacon cooks up with a satisfying contrast in texture. Fry it as-is for a mix of crisp and tender pieces, or score the rind before cooking to help it render more evenly and achieve a consistent crunch throughout. It’s especially popular in Southern-style cooking, where it can be served alongside breakfast, used in hearty dishes, or even deep-fried for extra crispness.

Stripling’s has been a staple of Southern food culture for decades, rooted in a family tradition that began in Georgia in the 1960s. What started as a small butcher shop known as the “Sausage Kitchen” has grown into a beloved destination for authentic Southern meats and specialties. Still family-owned, Stripling’s continues to produce its products with a focus on quality, heritage, and time-honored techniques.
