The family saved the recipe for this so-called "fairy in a violet dress" from oblivion. Made from mustard, grape must, red wine and a palette of harmonious spices, it is totally free of any additives or colors. Gentle and spicy, it enriches many types of dishes.
Serve it as an accompaniment to deli meats, fish, beef, pork, and sausages. It also makes an excellent addition to many marinade and salad dressing recipes.
