Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Parmigiano Reggiano is Italy’s most celebrated aged cheese, produced exclusively in the protected regions of Emilia-Romagna and parts of Lombardy using traditional methods that have remained largely unchanged for centuries. Made from raw cow’s milk, salt, and natural rennet, each wheel is crafted in copper vats and aged slowly to develop its signature structure and depth of flavor. The result is a firm, granular cheese with a pale straw color and a naturally formed rind stamped with the Parmigiano Reggiano name.

As it matures, Parmigiano Reggiano develops a complex profile that balances savory intensity with notes of toasted nuts, browned butter, and dried fruit. The texture is crystalline and slightly crumbly, breaking into irregular shards that melt smoothly when grated or shaved. It is an essential finishing cheese for pasta, risotto, soups, and salads, and it also shines on its own as a table cheese paired with cured meats, olives, or fruit.

Protected by strict DOP regulations, Parmigiano Reggiano represents one of the purest expressions of Italian cheesemaking. Available from half-pound portions to impressive quarter-wheels weighing up to 20 pounds, it remains a cornerstone of the Italian kitchen and one of the world’s most revered cheeses.
