Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Our Roasted Ham with Herbs is made by Leoncini in Verona, near Lake Garda in Italy. Their cooked hams are made from the best fresh pork legs coming from carefully selected suppliers. Most production process phases are done by hand as in the past, with a perfect marriage of craftsmanship and efficiency. Hand tied and roasted, the result is a tender and moist ham with the lovely aroma of Mediterranean herbs and spices.

Aristodemo Leoncini began his salumi business in 1918 in the heart of Emilia Romagna. In 1948 he moved to Colà di Lazise in Verona to consult for a salumi factory. He eventually bought this factory with his sons. Leoncini remains a family owned business to this day and has two production units, one in Langhirano (solely for proscuitto) and one near Lake Garda. Leoncini follows the strictest ancient meat processing techniques, following age-old Emilian recipes that are jealously protected and handed down through the generations. Technological evolution has offered numerous advantages, but is carefully applied in order not to compromise in any way the authenticity and quality of the products that have always been behind Leoncini’s strength.
