The team at French Broad Chocolates are honored to collaborate with this innovative business, Riverbend Malthouse, to bring you their Malted Milk Chocolate: a milk chocolate featuring Heritage barley malts, locally milled by community grain miller, Carolina Ground. To create this chocolate, they toast malted barley, and grind it with their cacao and organic milk powder. It holds the honor of being the reigning favorite in their bean-to-bar lineup among the residents of Asheville as well as international judges, bringing home in 2016 both a silver medal in the Americas category of the International Chocolate Awards and a finalist ribbon in Garden & Gun’s Made In The South Awards.
