If you’re looking to experience a true French-style ham, Madrange’s Jambon de Paris is the one to try. Known all throughout France and most of Europe as well, Madrange ham is produced by the Madrangeas family, who’s been perfecting the art of making spectacular ham for three generations.
Madrange ham starts with only the highest-quality pork, which is seasoned with a secret blend of herbs and spices, cured, oven-roasted for 12 hours, and smoked. It’s delicate but still flavorful, not too salty and not too smoky, and it’s best enjoyed thinly-sliced on a baguette with some good French butter and perhaps a slice of Gruyere; or alongside crusty bread, cornichons, and good mustard. This Jambon de Paris is produced in Canada using the same exacting recipes as at Madrange’s headquarters in Limoges, France.
