Biscuiterie de Provence makes delicately flavored and irresistibly moist cakes in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeast-central France. These melt-in-your-mouth cakes are made with the best of ingredients: freshly churned butter from Charentes-Poitou, pure vanilla extract and almonds from the Mediterranean basin. The nuts replace wheat flour, so these cakes are naturally gluten-free and incredibly moist and flavorful. Each cake serves about 4 people, and comes in a little tin to preserve freshness. They can be served on its own, or with a coulis, sorbet, or fruit salad.
