How We Ship

FreshWave Packaging

Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Boiron's Passion Fruit Puree is ideal for preparing cold soups or smoothies, creating tantalizing passion fruit desserts (sorbets, ice cream, cakes, tarts, etc.) or simply adding to yogurt. Add some to your favorite cocktail for a unique touch of the tropics.

Les Vergers Boiron frozen fruit purees are produced by grinding and sieving fruit taken from select varieties and farms. Using the flash pasteurization process, their purees maintain the taste, color and flavor of the original fruit. Each is 100% free of colorings, preservatives, thickeners and GMOs.

Defrosting Method: It is recommended to defrost the puree in the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours in order to get an optimum quality. It is possible to defrost the product in the microwave at a moderate temperature. When the puree is defrosted, remove the sealed protective film and pour out. If only part of the puree is required, unmold the still-frozen puree and cut-off the desired portion.

Storage Conditions: Store the product in the freezer. After defrosting, the products performs as a fresh product. Keep it refrigerated and use any thawed portion within 3 days. Do not refreeze.
