Our Fresh Black Burgundy Truffles (Tuber Uncinatum), are harvested in Italy from September to early winter, and prized for their delicate yet complex flavor. Known for their subtle earthy notes with a touch of nuttiness and a distinct hazelnut aroma, these are mild but distinct, with a rugged dark, textured exterior and rich brown interior that offers beautiful contrast when shaved over warm dishes.
Unlike their bolder winter cousins, Burgundies are all about balance, bringing subtle richness without overpowering your meal. Pair them with creamy sauces, olive oil, or butter to make their flavor really pop.
How to Use: Shave or grate over your favorite dishes—try them on risotto, mashed potatoes, or even pizza. These truffles shine when added to rich, warm dishes, enhancing every bite.
Storage Tip: Keep them wrapped in paper towels in an airtight container in the fridge, and swap out the paper daily to keep them fresh for up to a week.
NOTE: Fresh white truffles are charged based on the actual weight shipped. The price of Italian white truffles can change weekly, and you will be charged based on the prevailing price the week your order ships.
