How We Ship

FreshWave Packaging

Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Fermin’s Jamon Serrano offers a classic taste of Spain in an easy, ready-to-serve 4-ounce sliced pack. Crafted from traditional Spanish white pigs and cured in the mountain village of La Alberca, Salamanca, this serrano develops its hallmark balance of savory depth, gentle saltiness, and a clean, dry finish. As it ages, the ham firms up and its flavor concentrates, resulting in thin slices with a soft chew and a pleasantly aromatic, slightly nutty profile.

Bring the slices to room temperature to allow the fat to soften and release its full aroma. Enjoy it simply with crusty bread and olive oil, layer it onto tapas boards, drape over warm potatoes or eggs, or pair with sharp cheeses and briny olives. Its versatility also makes it ideal for elevating salads, pizzas, and pastas with a distinctly Spanish character.

Fermin, founded in 1956, cures its serrano using slow, natural methods passed down through generations. Their location within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve provides the cool, dry mountain air essential for producing an authentic, high-quality serrano with unmistakable flavor.
