The original creator of this Spanish confection was Luis Echeto Jr., a native of the Canary Islands. Luis used the King of Almonds - the largueta variety - to create his "stones". Extra large, long and flat, the Larguetas are covered in sugar, coated with chocolate and finally dusted in cocoa powder. Bite through the luxurious melt-in your-mouth chocolate coating to get to the fresh, crunchy flavor of the superior Spanish almond inside. Very addictive!
