How We Ship

FreshWave Packaging

Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition! We’ve carefully selected packaging options that have minimal impact on the environment without compromising on food safety or quality.

For perishable orders, we line our shipping boxes with Tempguard - a unique, padded insulator made of 100% pre-consumer recycled paper material. We further control the temperature with recycled kraft paper fill and non-toxic frozen gel packs. In the summer months, we may include dry ice to ensure fresh delivery in very hot weather.

Note: Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by recycling your shipping box, Tempguard liner, and kraft fill (all 100% curbside recyclable!). Store the gel packs in your freezer and reuse to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.

Duncan’s Cervena venison tenderloin features two premium tenderloins, each approximately ¾ lb., sourced from free-range deer farms in New Zealand. Known for its exceptional tenderness and fine grain, the tenderloin is the most delicate cut of venison, offering refined texture and elegant presentation for both restaurant kitchens and home cooks.

Cervena venison is celebrated for its clean, subtly sweet flavor and remarkably lean profile. Raised naturally on pasture, the deer produce meat that is tender, nutrient-rich, and consistent in quality. The tenderloin cooks quickly and evenly, making it ideal for pan-searing or grilling to medium-rare, where its supple texture and deep yet delicate flavor are best expressed.

Duncan Venison was established in 1990 by Andy and Vinnie Duncan. With roots in New Zealand’s deer industry dating back to the late 1970s, the company is dedicated to supplying premium, farm-raised NZ venison under the Cervena and Pamu programs. Their commitment to sustainable farming and responsible land stewardship ensures a protein that is both flavorful and thoughtfully produced.
