For four generations, Casa Madaio has been creating cheese masterpieces from goat, cow, sheep and buffalo milk in their dairy located in the pristine National Park of Cilento in Campania, in southern Italy. From fresh cheeses like their Mozzarella di Bufala to aged cheeses like Sbronzo, we have always looked forward to their creations. Their Tozzeti are no exception. Made simply, with the best ingredients: just wheat flour 00, white wine, buffalo butter and salt. These bite-sized treasures have a delicate aroma, reminiscent of fresh milk, with floral notes, aromatic tones, and a slight aftertaste of almonds. The delicacy of the buffalo butter gives these crackers their unmistakable taste. Tozzetti are a perfect aperitivo accompanied by a delicate white wine with fresh cheeses and olives.
