Calasparra Rice has been grown in the Murcia region of Spain for centuries. Calasparra is a natural enclave where the cold water flows fresh and pure. The water and superior climatic conditions produce a superb premium hard grain rice. For the past 300 years Calasparra has been recognized as the finest rice on the peninsula of Spain.
Cooking Instructions: Calasparra Rice has a higher starch content than most other rice. For that reason it is very important to add a great deal of water as it absorbs so much more. For best results, use 4 parts broth to 1 part rice. Simmer uncovered for 18-20 minutes.
INGREDIENTS: Traditional Paella Rice.
