Central Coast Creamery owner Reggie Jones asked his daughter, Avery Jones, if she wanted to try her hand at artisan cheese making. Soon, they set up a separate creamery that was based on Central Coast Creamery to allow Avery to take risks with the cheese as well as to have something to base her recipes on. Shooting Star Creamery, in Paso Robles, CA, was born to reflect Avery and her father's belief of shooting for the stars. And did she ever! At age 15, Avery debuted her cheese Aries at the competitive American Cheese Society awards in 2019, winning 3rd Place overall. With 1,742 entries, we'd say she rocked it! This award-winning cheese from Shooting Star Creamery is a nice addition shaved into a salad with fruit or chunked on its own with honeycomb. The Aries pairs well with an crisp Chenin Blanc, dry Rose or IPA beer.

How We Ship
Perishable foods are optimally packed and temperature controlled with kraft void fill and non-toxic refrigerant gel packs. To further contain temperature escalation, we fill any empty space with specialized foam to minimize air circulation.
Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by reusing the gel packs to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.
Please note: Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition. Whenever possible - such as in periods of cooler ambient temperatures - we try to use less packaging , more recyclable materials and avoid unnecessary shipping waste.
