Roth’s Private Reserve is made in traditional copper vats before aging in their Cellars. Their skilled Cellar Masters wash, brush, turn and care for the cheese until it has reached its optimal flavor. Aged a minimum of 6 months, this cheese is released on flavor not on date.
The natural rind boasts a straw yellow color with the occasional reddish hue. The interior is ivory in color with a dense, pliant texture.
Inspired by traditional Alpine-style cheeses, Roth’s Private Reserve has a rich, robust, earthy flavor with a nuanced sweet and nutty finish. This seasonal cheese is best served as a table cheese to showcase its outstanding complexity, but is also a splendid melting cheese for those who deserve only the best.
