Just like Miss Prissy herself, her Bold & Bodacious Spicy Mustard is remarkably noteworthy. The classic mustard base has just the right amount of kick from a pop of jalapeno. This makes this mustard the go-to condiment for every barbecue. Add to deviled eggs, potato salad, rub onto tenderloin, add to marinades, slather on hot dogs, burgers and sandwiches. In 1986, Prissy's of Vidalia was started in the town of Vidalia, Georgia in the small kitchen of Priscilla Oxley Ruckno. She was very active in her local community, helping to start and run the Vidalia Onion Festival; it was then that she saw a growing demand for gourmet products that included ingredients with the famous Vidalia Sweet Onions. The focus of the business was to create quality products that looked attractive, tasted great, and also promoted the Vidalia name. In the beginning, Prissy's could only be found in specialty gift markets, catering to those with an eye for the finer things in life.
