All produce they use comes from farms within a 350 mile radius of Sqirl's kitchen.
In 2010 Jessica Koslow quit her job as a producer for American Idol to make handcrafted, small batch traditional preserves. At first she sold them online, but eventually opened a cafe, Sqirl Kitchen, where she makes her preserves serves fresh, seasonal foods for breakfast and lunch. With lines out the door, this has become one of LA's hottest eateries.

Perishable foods are optimally packed and temperature controlled with kraft void fill and non-toxic refrigerant gel packs. To further contain temperature escalation, we fill any empty space with specialized foam to minimize air circulation.
