And consider this: one straw contains the life's work of 12 honeybees. That's right. And nectar from more than 40,000 wildflowers!
Honey straws are great for a quick taste of honey or a portable sweetener for your tea or coffee — and kids go nuts over them. Each package contains 8 straws.
Founded by Laura Kimball and Jeff Otto, TruBee honey specializes in pure honey, native nectar sources and sustainable beekeeping practices. Their apiary is located in Arrington, Tenn., in the countryside just south of Nashville.
They prefer to capture the essence of their region and season instead of confining their bees to a single-source diet, which isn’t healthy for the hives, their "free-range" bees are in places where they can forage tulip poplar, fruit blossoms and black locust in the spring, then feast on wildflowers, herbs and clover in the summer.
Each jar of TruBee honey captures the taste of nature in a particular place and time. Given the changes in rainfall, sunshine and, of course, bloom time, the unique taste of each particular harvest may never be repeated again.
No honey should be fed to infants 12 months or younger.

How We Ship
Perishable foods are optimally packed and temperature controlled with kraft void fill and non-toxic refrigerant gel packs. To further contain temperature escalation, we fill any empty space with specialized foam to minimize air circulation.
Please join our efforts to be mindful of our environment and extend the life-cycle of our packaging, by reusing the gel packs to keep your next picnic or road trip fare cool.
Please note: Our products are always shipped so they will arrive at your door in optimal condition. Whenever possible - such as in periods of cooler ambient temperatures - we try to use less packaging , more recyclable materials and avoid unnecessary shipping waste.
