These square sweets take their name “Malvi” from malvavisco; the Spanish word for marshmallow. That said, they’re very much American, being the focus of a family-run business based out of Atlanta, that received initial funding from a Kickstarter campaign. Malvi has since become known for their attention to flavor and quality, crafting unique treats that are light years apart from basic, supermarket marshmallows. These fluffy, oversized cubes are crafted with kosher gelatin and real golden honey. The result is a naturally sweet (instead of cloyingly saccharine) confection that’s gluten-free, and made with real ingredients instead of artificial colors, preservatives, and corn syrup. In other words, they’re perfect for cocoa-toppers, s'mores stacking, or noshing straight out of the bag.
