One of the best known dishes from Roman cuisine, Cacio e Pepe was a dish for the common shepherds living in the hills of Rome and areas touching the regions of Umbria and Abruzzo. Stored in the saddlebag was a slice of pecorino, a handful of black peppercorns and a good amount of dry handmade spaghetti!

The salty and delicious Pecorino Romano transforms into an irresistible cream; black peppercorn crushed and then toasted for a beautiful kick and crunchy texture; and finally the Bucatini shape allows the sauce to make its way into every bite!
